Anish Corporation is an Aboriginal non-profit organization with offices in Winnipeg and Thompson, Manitoba.
We deliver health related programs and services to former students of Indian Residential Schools, their family members and support person(s) in Manitoba who are seeking compensation through the Indian Residential Schools Settlement Agreement. These services are provided by our Resolution Health Support Workers (RHSW) through a Contribution Agreement with Health Canada and include:
- Professional counselling;
- Emotional support provided by our Resolution Health Support Workers;
- Cultural Support provided by Elders; and
- Assistance with the cost of transportation can be provided by contacting our Regional Coordinator's office toll free 1-866-818-3505;
- When necessary, providing referrals to other community services & programs.
Anish Corporation also provides:
- Training coordination services to Aboriginal Headstart On-Reserve Projects;
- Meeting facilitation services.
